2010 Post SBCA Awards Press Release: SMALL BUSINESS COUNCIL OF AMERICA 27th ANNUAL CONGRESSIONAL AWARDS HONORED MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS. 2009 Post SBCA Awards Press Releas: SBCA Awards Nominate the SBCA Humanitarian of the Year For the past six years, the presentation of the “Small Business Council of America Humanitarian of the Year Award” has been deemed one of the major highlights of our Annual Awards Reception held at the U.S. Capitol. We are looking for small business owners (or their family members) who demonstrate a charitable commitment based upon a time commitment and other support activities that may not necessarily be financial. We are looking for people who are clearly committed to making the world a better place for people in need. Past Humanitarian of the Year Award Winners. Nominate a Small Business Person of the Year Each year the Small Business Council of America honors an outstanding small business person by selecting him or her as the SBCA Small Business Person of the Year. The Small Business Person of the Year will be recognized and honored in person at the SBCA's Congressional Awards Reception held at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., in May of each year. The purpose of the award is to honor an American businessman or woman for outstanding accomplishments in promoting a favorable environment for the small businesses of America. Past Small Business Person of the Year Award Winners Nominate the Connie Murdoch Award Winner At our Congressional Awards Reception in Washington, D.C. in May, we will honor one of our members with the Connie Murdoch Award. This award is presented in memory of Connie Murdoch who died in May, 1985 and all the good works he did for our organization. This award is given in recognition of outstanding leadership, dedication and achievement on behalf of SBCA during the preceding year. |
